Each side of the Zig Zag Walnut Mirror is carefully cut and mitered from a single piece of wood. This allows the grain matches length of each frame member. This technique creates the Trompe-l’oeil effect in the frames wood grain. Custom sizes are available based on the index of the of the design. The size shown is 38″ x 38″ Hand rubbed oil finish.
The solid Walnut & Osage Orange Coffee table features a wide picture frame mitered top, centered by an inset field of Osage Orange. The top is fitted with an inset glass plate that sits flush with the frame. The top is raised on four square blocks at each corner that rests on the large solid tapered legs. The rectangular Neo Classic Coffee Table in solid America Cherry. The design is inspired by the 20c French Designer Andre Arbus. Arbus was one of a number of French designers from the 1940’s who distilled 18c French furniture to a simpler less ornamental classical form. The rectangular top rest on classical aprons that are traced along their bottom edge with a raised bead molding. The table is raised on four saber-style legs that are traced with a hand carved raised bead molding.
