Drawers are fitted in the side and end aprons
The American Walnut Kitchen Island features beautifully figured grain across the top. This island, build for a custom kitchen is shown in a highly distressed hand rubbed oil finish as per the client’s request. The edges of the 2″ thick Walnut planks were eased before the top was assembled to emphasize the distressing. The table apron is fitted with (6) six red oak drawers mounted on full extension metal slides. Corner joints on the apron are detailed with rustic raised plugs. The solid Walnut & Osage Orange Coffee table features a wide picture frame mitered top, centered by an inset field of Osage Orange. The top is fitted with an inset glass plate that sits flush with the frame. The top is raised on four square blocks at each corner that rests on the large solid tapered legs. Length 59″ x Width 30″x Height 19″.
Neo Classic Coffee Table in Solid Cherry
The rectangular Neo Classic Coffee Table in solid America Cherry. The design is inspired by the 20c French Designer Andre Arbus. Arbus was one of a number of French designers from the 1940’s who distilled 18c French furniture to a simpler less ornamental classical form. The rectangular top rest on classical aprons that are traced along their bottom edge with a raised bead molding. The table is raised on four saber-style legs that are traced with a hand carved raised bead molding.
